It's Been Awhile...

... So I thought I'd take advantage of a slow day at work to create a new post.

Nothing too big and exciting or horrific and tragic has happened lately. I'm just really looking forward to summer and warm weather and finally being done with school!

I'm currently in my last class of my master's program in writing: Modern Rhetoric. Don't ever take a serious theory course as your last course, especially in the spring when you're hit with unseasonably warm weather. It's so hard to concentrate, and I still have to write an 8-page paper before I'm through!

You know those lotions that are supposed to bring out your "natural glow." They aren't supposed to be like self-tanners, just moisturizers that do something to your pigment.

Well, I bought one by L'Oreal and tried it, and now my left leg is a big streaky mess! I definitely have patches of skin that have way more than a "natural glow." It looks like I had a fight with a can of muted-orange paint! I wonder if the Jergens stuff works better. Any recommendations?

jergens has a fun shimmer kind of lotion...it leaves a light dusting of sparkles on you that's kind of fun, that might be closer to your natural glow? anyhow, it's fun and not a serious tanner.

I used the Jergens Natural Glow last year and it worked pretty well. Just be careful about your feet and knees. They absorb the lotion more and can look unnatural if you put too much on.

Vaseline has one for fair skin that I might try... i'm hoping that it will be tamer than the others b/c I definitely don't want to look orange!
